Job Description - Lead Mechanical Engineer (AUS0009U7)Ausenco is a fast-growing company with big ideas.

From 26 offices in 15 countries, with projects in over 80 locations worldwide, we create sustainable outcomes for our people, clients, and communities.Our team is growing, and we are currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Perth office.About the roleWorking across the full life-cycle of projects from scoping studies through to execution of EPC and EPCM.Ability to deliver mechanical technical solutions in accordance with project scope, time-frames, and best practice standards.Prepare technical reports related to the design.Develop a thorough understanding of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost, and schedule.Develop the mechanical work plan for inclusion into the project specific execution plan.Be a key contributor to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.Manage and review the Engineering Work Packages (EWP) associated with all deliverables and time-based functions to ensure that budgets and schedules are being met, and taking corrective action if necessary.Review and approve mechanical technical deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, etc.
