As a Group Fitness Manager at our Helensvale Goodlife Health club, your primary goal will be to lead, mentor, and develop the performance of your Group Fitness team. You will be responsible for promoting group fitness opportunities and initiatives to our members, increasing member engagement, and enhancing membership value.This role is ideal for a passionate Group Fitness professional with at least 2 years of Group Fitness experience and management experience (this can be drawn from other industries).This is a part-time role - offering 14 hours per week.Must be available:Mondays - 9:00am-2:00pmKey responsibilities:Attracting and recruiting Group Fitness Instructors who live and love fitness.Managing and timetabling up to 100 Group Fitness classes weekly.Help new Group Fitness Instructors become a part of the team by coaching, motivating and inspiring them.Building a culture where your team love to come to work and members love to work out.Create a fun and focused club experience by organising, marketing and running group exercises that meet the needs of our members.Continue to raise the Goodlife standard by running Group Exercises that are energetic, focused and professional.Manage Group Fitness budgets and prepare related reports.Act as a role model, motivator and a Goodlife brand ambassador.Provide an expert Goodlife experience at every touch point - Acquisition, integration and visitation.Willingness to comply with and carry out all implemented Work Health and Safety related activities and processes.To be successful in this role you will need:A passion for and significant experience as a Group Fitness Instructor, ideally Les Mills or studio style.Have previous managerial experience in a health club or gym and a passion for developing people to perform at their full potential.Registration with Fitness Australia.First Aid and CPR certifications.Cert III in Group Exercise Instruction.What we can offer you:A fun and outgoing team environment.Modern and comfortable group fitness studios.A free all club access, 24/7 Goodlife membership.Additional benefits include anniversary leave days and an additional free gym membership for friends and family as part of our recognition for service awards.Access to career opportunities in Asia Pacific's largest diversified fitness group - FLG.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:At Fitness and Lifestyle Group, we bring positive energy and attitude to work every day.
