We are recognised for our strong market presence, superior customer service and award winning product quality.About the RoleAs the Packaging Technologist in a fast-paced Pharmaceutical contract manufacturing business, you will be responsible for the packaging development to support the businesses' growth and success and providing market-leading options for our customers.
This new role reports to the Group Sourcing Director.
In this role, you will be required to support the coordination and successful delivery of packaging projects from idea generation to launch.
Your key responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:Working across multiple local and global brands to validate and approve all new packaging used on siteEnsure packaging materials meet consumer, customer, manufacturing, and business needsApply packaging development principles to unlock innovative pack design and support the execution of packaging projects from concept-to-launchDevelop and implement packaging specifications that meet food contact and recycling certificationExecute projects in a timely manner to drive innovationLiaise with various stakeholders to drive performance, evaluate new technologies and identify cost saving opportunitiesConduct and coordinate functional testing including plant trials, lab testing, transportation tests, shelf-life studies including analysis of data, results and follow up recommendations and action plansCollaborate with packaging suppliers to build technical relationships and partnership opportunities to generate value for the business
