About the Role:We are seeking a Qualified Heavy-Duty Fitter with proven experience in underground mining to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with:
SimbersDump TrucksBoggersYou will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of underground mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on underground equipment, surface and ancillary equipment.Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimize delays.Maintain accurate service records and reports.Adhere to all safety protocols and site-specific guidelines.Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with site leadership.Qualifications and Experience: Trade qualification as a Heavy-Diesel Fitter (or equivalent).Extensive experience working in underground mining operations.Proficiency with underground environment and workings.Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.What We Offer: FIFO roster options (Currently on offer 7:7, 8:6, 2:2).Opportunities for career growth and upskilling.A supportive and safety-focused work environment.Salary sacrifice (terms and conditions apply).How to Apply:If you are a skilled HD Fitter ready to take on the challenges of underground mining, we want to hear from you
