Working arrangements: Staff are required to attend the Canberra office 3 days per week.
Individual arrangements can be negotiated with Managers where required.

RequirementsThe Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) ICT Transition Program is a two-year initiative designed to transition the department's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services from the current shared service model to a service fully managed by DCCEEW.
The Program aims to transition and enhance the department's ICT infrastructure, processes, and service delivery models to ensure they meet strategic objectives and operational requirements.
The Department requires the services of an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to be embedded in the ICT Transition Program to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of cyber security transformation services.
The applicants must have experience in some of the following:
Design, implement, deliver, and support Cyber Security and Compliance solutions in hybrid and cloud only environments in line with Australia Government Cyber Security and user/business requirements.Configure, support, and monitor some or all of the following products:Microsoft SentinelMicrosoft Security and ComplianceMicrosoft Information Protection (MIP) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)Microsoft Defender 365Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)Automate and implement via Infrastructure as Code solutions.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business, technology, external suppliers, and other subject-matter experts.Other tasking as required by the Program.Develop documentation such as Detailed Designs, High Level Designs, As-Built-As-Configured, and standard operating procedures.CriteriaEssential criteria Experience in designing, implementing, delivering, and supporting Microsoft Security and Compliance solutions in hybrid and cloud only environments in line with Australia Government Cyber Security requirements.Demonstrated experience with implementing, configuring, and managing security tooling including SIEM and PAM across an enterprise providing resilient and highly available solutions.Demonstrated experience with Vulnerability scanning tools preferably Qualys, including the analysis and reporting of the data to provide recommendations and action plans to management.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to improve strategic and operational cyber capability to the Department.Desirable criteria Any relevant industry certifications and qualifications.What to submitFor each candidate, you must include: Start dateHourly rateResponses to selection criteriaResumés #J-18808-Ljbffr
