About the role In this role, you will manage and lead field staff while collaborating closely with Zinfra Services on resource allocation and management for small to medium construction projects.
You'll be responsible for supporting and enhancing operational efficiencies, ensuring that customer service, quality, and safety standards are met on time and within budget.
Additionally, you will provide supervisory support to both internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring that all personnel are trained, adequately resourced, and working in compliance with Zinfra's policies and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities include Manage and support field staffSupervision of small and medium construction worksImprove operational efficiencies and performancePlan, organise and support field activities within specific projects/jobs; ensuring delivery expectations of customer service, quality and safety are met in a timely and profitable mannerEnsure work practices and procedures accord with Zinfra Company Policies, Quality System and statutory safety requirementsApply for Permits required to complete the workAbout You We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader with experience in field staff supervision, particularly within Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, successfully managing work groups of up to 20 individuals while ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures.Collaborate effectively with senior managementProven ability to undertake maintenance of High Voltage electrical apparatus and Construction activities in stationsComprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of HV Electrical construction and maintenance practiceProactive in identifying the critical resources necessary to achieve desired objectivesCapacity to act decisively to ensure network security and public safetyDisplay a positive customer and team focus, work effectively, participate in identifying workplace change or productivity improvementsCurrent active Australian driver's license.We are a champion of equal opportunity employment and have targets for gender equity and first nations representation in our workforce.
