We are located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales.
At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines.
Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CSA Mine directly employs over 500 people including contractors.
We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for: Drafting contract tender packages to gain competitive pricing from suppliers/subcontractorsReview contracts, highlighting costs and scope variancesDevelop and maintain all requirements for site access for contracting firms (insurances and business systems)Ensure all supply and contracts procedures and CSA site procedures are followedReview contract process and policies for continual improvementSupporting internal stakeholders with contract procedures, and general administration of contracts to maintain a professional standard of workMaintain accurate contract register and system to flag necessary reviews and renewalsAbout you: Understanding of procurement and contract facilitation in miningAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience with SAP (preferred but not essential)Relevant Tertiary QualificationsConditions:
This position is offered on a residential, drive in drive out (DIDO) or fly in fly out (FIFO) from Sydney or Brisbane.
A 5/2, 4/3 roster is preferred, and hybrid working options are available - however be advised that regular time on site will be necessary.
If residential is the preferred commute option, relocation costs and a housing subsidy will be provided to the successful candidate to assist in relocating to Cobar.
Candidates interested in the DIDO or FIFO will be provided with commute single accommodation and meals at the mine camp.
CSA also provides Pool & Gym Reimbursements to our employees and their dependants.
