You will become part of a collaborative and motivated team that takes pride in delivering high-quality services to our community.
This role offers a chance to work independently, taking ownership of various tasks while contributing to the cleanliness and maintenance of public spaces.
Your key focus areas are:
Undertake a broad range of tasks associated with the cleaning of public facilities such as paths, BBQ's, bus shelters, graffiti removal, beach cleaning, playgrounds, skate parks, CBD areas, benches and fish cleaning tables, and litter collection.Operate small items of plant in accordance with policies, procedures and legislative requirements.Work with minimal supervision to carry out a broad range of tasks associated with facility cleaning functions.Ensure that all activities are undertaken to the required legislative standards, practices and standard operating procedures, including WHS, quality and environmental controls.Ensure a high level of customer service in all dealings with internal and external customers and stakeholders.Travel and/or work across multiple LGA sites.Weekend work as part of a 7-day roster.LET'S HEAR ABOUT YOU Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated and dedicated team player who prioritises safety and environmental best practices in your work methods.

Specifically, you will have:
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and undertake a scheduled maintenance program within established timeframes and guidelines.Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent frontline customer service through well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.Practical understanding and application of safety, quality and environmental controls relevant to a public facility cleaning role.Experience in the safe use of cleaning chemicals and plant relevant to the role including but not limited to high-pressure cleaning equipment, mechanical mall sweepers, paint sprayers, electric sanders and other plant as needed.Class C Driver's licence with the ability and willingness to obtain a minimum LR Driver's Licence.LET'S REVEAL THE PERKS Competitive salary from $56,328 to $65,462 a year plus industry-leading 12 per cent superannuation.Travel allowance applies.Adverse working conditions allowance.Weekend penalty rates apply.38-hour working week with a nine-day fortnight.Weekly pay.Opportunity for annual reviews for pay progression and Enterprise Agreement increases.Fortnightly roster day.PPE supplied.We are committed to being an employer of choice.
