About The Role... We are looking for a motivated, organised and independent Solar Electrician for solar design and installation, as well as battery installation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Amongst other things you will be responsible for:
Planning and performing installations of solar panels and associated equipmentDiagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issuesDeveloping standard operating documents for installations, operations and trainingOverseeing and supervising sub-contractorsTo be successful in this role, you will have: The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematicsValid electrical qualifications licenseHV electrical qualification desirableValid Australian drivers licenseExperience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solarWillingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where requiredSound computer skillsSolid understanding of workplace health and safety principlesSuccessful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and must have contactable work references.
