Human Resources Manager

Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment) Full time The Carter & Spencer Group is a family owned business who have been in operation for more than 80 years in Queensland – growing, packing and supplying fresh produce to Australia's retailers.
Reporting to the Director – Group Operations, you will provide advice, support and guidance to the organisation on human resources policies, procedures, practices and initiatives.
You will also manage Workplace Health & Safety, Workcover and some Group Services.
Some of the things you will be responsible for are:
Reviewing and updating policies and proceduresImplementing annual changes under Modern AwardsRecruitment and inductionConducting workplace investigations and reviewsProviding advice and support to managers on employee performanceOverseeing staff trainingManaging Workcover casesWorkplace health and safetyTo be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience in HR as a generalist or managerTertiary qualifications in Human Resource ManagementExperience dealing with IRA thorough knowledge of the requirements of modern awards in the workplaceExperience with social responsibility codes such as SedexExperience with managing WPH&S requirementsThis full-time permanent role is based in Tennyson (Brisbane).
We are a fresh produce company so our operating hours are earlier than standard business hours but there is the possibility for some flexibility with start times.
