Production Officer

Holcim is looking for a Production Officer who holds a current HR license for their plant located in Cairns. Minimum 6-months on road truck experience required. This role is a mix of production, batching and agitator driving.Roles in Concrete Plants are fast-paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process driven with a high level of attention to detail.Full training provided on equipment, systems and proceduresA close-knit team on site backed by an inclusive culture company-wideThe chance to contribute to building some of Australia's most iconic infrastructureOvertime and weekend work offers real earning potentialAttractive base + 14% Super + penalties, allowances and overtimeDuties and responsibilities:Supporting and displaying a strong safety culture at all timesProduction of concrete using multiple systems and processesAllocating and assigning loads to driversStock management and coordination of deliveriesManaging contractors arriving to siteConducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating the Agitator trucks in a safe mannerDelivering concrete to customer sitesYard maintenance and front-end loader operationForklift operation and manual handling of bagged productsAbout you:Hold a current HR licence with a minimum of 6-month on road truck driving experience and clear driving historyForklift and front-end loader tickets - DesirableGood computer skills and the ability to learn new softwareBe a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervisedWillingness to go the extra mile, supporting a strong team cultureBe passionate about safety, with a strong work ethic, and is results focusedHave effective communication skills and works well under pressureBe able to physically perform all duties associated with the positionAbility to complete a full pre-employment medical with Drug & Alcohol screeningMust hold full Australian work rights with no restrictions on employment duration or hours (no holiday or student visas)The Holcim ExperienceAt Holcim, there is endless opportunity for you to play your part.
