About Us Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with 30 years' industry experience in Australia and New Zealand.
We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy, and Remediation industry sectors.
Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works, and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities
About the role Based in Western Sydney, our NSW Team has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand to join a dedicated team that designs and constructs roads and bridges ranging in size from cycleways and pedestrian overpasses through to multilane highways and rail corridor bridge crossings.
Who we are looking for: Leading hand with experience in Civil InfrastructureExperienced with any of the following: skid steer, excavator, roller, loader, grader (HR and HC Truck Licence desirable but not essential)Experience in concrete and pavementsWhat you need Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar roleExcellent commitment to safetyHardworking and reliable work ethicHands-on attitude and willingness to take on new challengesCurrent NSW Drivers licenceHR and HC Truck Licence (desirable but not essential)WHS General Induction Card (White Card)Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening prior to placementMust have full working rights in AustraliaWhy you should work with us Our people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we ensure that this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term.
