Full-Time Opportunity: (Contract) Full-Time role based in Adelaide.
In this key leadership role, you'll work closely with the CEO and Board to guide the organisation's financial strategy, ensure effective governance, and drive long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with the organisation's mission and goals.
- Provide expert financial advice and reporting to the CEO and Board.
- Oversee the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and ensure compliance with all statutory and financial requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and funders to ensure financial transparency.
- Drive financial planning, forecasting, and the implementation of financial management systems.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the HR Business Partner and Finance Officer.
- Oversee contracts, agreements, and organisational risk management frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience: Essential: - Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA/CA Accreditation.
- 8-10 years of senior financial management experience in a complex organisation.
- Strong leadership experience, with a proven ability to advise and collaborate with Boards and Executive teams.
- High-level experience with financial systems and compliance processes.
Desirable: - Previous experience in a non-profit or healthcare setting.
- Experience working with remote or multicultural communities.
