About the RoleFull time – Ongoing The Team Leader Regional Projects sits within Regional Capital Delivery, and is responsible for delivering assigned capital projects to a team and leading this team to exceed client and community requirements.
The Team Leader Regional Projects ensures that the project team is provided with support from other functional teams within Regional Capital Delivery or DTP.
Effectively deliver assigned projects, either individually or with the support of other project specialists, to ensure that budget, schedule, environmental, safety and quality outcomes are achieved in accordance with the DTP project lifecycle framework.
Established strong relationships with suppliers have been developed to ensure the timely completion of commercial and project deliverables.Engage with internal and external stakeholders and community using formal frameworks to ensure projects have been planned and managed to achieve technical requirements, minimising disruption during construction, and providing outcomes for community and Victorian Governments.Develop and implement capability programs to improve team ability to provide more effective and consistent project management services.Provide effective leadership, people management and support to their team, promoting public service values.Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.KEY SELECTION CRITERIA You will be a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team in a dynamic role that focuses on capability development, project delivery, and stakeholder management.

You will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into successful programs or projects, ensuring the effective management of risks and maximizing success.
A strong problem-solver, you will resolve complex issues by applying critical thinking and leveraging available guidelines or collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.
Your ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with clients and stakeholders will be key, as you respond to their needs and ensure desired outcomes.
Additionally, your engineering expertise will allow you to shape outcomes in a specific area, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
