Keeler Hardware | Industrial Engineer

As an Industrial Engineer at Keeler Hardware, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our warehouse operations and ensuring the highest standards of productivity and product quality.
You will be responsible for analysing current processes, designing efficient workflows, and implementing improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and dedicated to driving continuous improvement in our operations.
Key Responsibilities: Meet with Operations Manager to assess existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
Attend team meetings to analyse workforce utilization, facility layout, operational data, and production schedules to optimize worker and equipment efficiencies.
Develop design and production standards in collaboration with management and user personnel.
Develop standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.
Cascade relevant communications arising from team meetings.
Verify the quality of products received from suppliers, ensuring adherence to established standards.
Utilize ERP software for efficient management, reception, and tracking of merchandise in the warehouse.
Compare quantitative and qualitative data during merchandise entry, generating comprehensive reports as needed.
Track and trace orders to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Minimize waiting times between purchase and shipment processes, optimizing workflow efficiency.
Solve daily warehouse challenges and delegate tasks effectively to resolve issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all warehouse processes.
Perform process simulations and troubleshoot issues to identify areas for improvement.
Communicate effectively with suppliers to address quality concerns and uphold product standards.
Establish routines and best practices in the warehouse area to maintain product quality.
Design and test process upgrades and new systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Provide prompt and accurate responses to inquiries regarding products.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in industrial engineering, warehouse management, and process optimization.
Proficiency in using Neto software or similar warehouse management systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
