The role The primary purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of psychological and mental health claims from inception to finalisation in accordance with both relevant regulatory and Allianz requirements, to maintain a focus on strategic collaboration and case management at all times to maximise return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants, consistently displaying initiative and leadership on a team and business level.
You'll be responsible for Managing a diverse portfolio of psychological and mental health claims for TMF government agencies.Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders meeting Allianz's service principles.Determining liability and timely assessment of treatment requests.Appropriately documenting claims decisions.Utilising claims management systems.Developing and implementing claims strategies that deliver positive and sustainable outcomes.Meeting key compliance and performance measures.Coaching and supporting newer team members. About youExperience as a Workers Compensation Case Manager or other personal injury lines.Experience or interest in managing psychological and mental health claimsTMF/Insurance for NSW experience highly regardedYou have excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a customer focused approach.You have the ability to handle difficult situations and whilst resolving complex situations in a timely manner.You are proactive with the drive to learn and develop skills.You have excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt when changes occur.
