We have a rare opportunity available for a Vet Nurse to join our Townsville team on a part-time basis
Our four Greencross clinics in Townsville's north are looking for an experienced nurse to join their team.
The role will offer variety and support as you will have the chance to work across the four clinics in the region.
This position will require Saturday work.
The Greencross Townsville group has a loyal, longstanding client base that is like family to us.

What are we looking for?
Ideally certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent Good knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures Exceptional communication and customer service skills Experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential) Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is committed and eager to develop their knowledge and skills in a supportive and friendly environment.
What you'll be doing each day:
Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency and critical care Performing minor procedures when required Caring, handling, and cleaning all animals Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment Reception duties including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting, and discharging patients As one of the largest veterinary groups in Australia, we pride ourselves on our veterinary jobs with an employee-led development and support program that includes a commitment to a better career/life balance, an industry-leading education program, plus a wide range of career opportunities throughout the 170+ vet-related businesses in our larger family.
