Senior Reward Specialist

As a Reward Specialist within our Reward Community of Expertise (CoE), you will have the opportunity to dive into a diverse range of reward initiatives.
This role plays a key role in supporting the delivery of our cyclical processes while helping to shape and transform reward strategies.
Your contributions will ensure we remain competitive in the global marketplaces we operate in, while driving efficiency and alignment across our operations.
The Reward CoE spans five regions, global functions, and over 30 countries, delivering an ambitious Global Reward Strategy that aligns with Arup's overarching goals.
As part of a collaborative team of Reward Specialists works closely with reward managers and colleagues across the global people team to make a lasting impact on our global reward landscape.
The Opportunity Support the delivery of reward cyclical activity across Australasia and East Asia regions, partnering with global CoE colleagues on key projects that operationalise our global reward strategy.
Participate in projects to operationalise our reward strategy or develop solutions in support of global and regional business needs.
Design and complete in-depth analysis of reward data to provide insights on for example pay equity, pay review budget spend, market competitiveness and other regular or ad hoc requirements.
Identify the key metrics that will provide insight into developing solutions and measuring the effectiveness of reward practises and processes, making recommendations with a focus on continuous improvement and consistency.
Support the implementation of the new global people system.
Provide expert advice and guidance on reward-related matters.
Carry out in-depth market research to inform projects.
Maintain a current understanding of reward legislation, market developments and best practise in reward, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance our reward offering.
Is this role right for you?
Operational reward experience within a matrixed organisation environment, ideally international.
Outcome-oriented and adaptable with the ability to manage complexity across multiple projects and stakeholders.
Excellent analytical skills and systems proficiency with demonstrable advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues and analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable collaborating and managing the expectations of a range of internal stakeholders and vendors.
Able to maintain strong attention to detail, accuracy and high-quality delivery in a busy environment.
An ability to review current processes and data, detect errors and take responsibility for improving data quality.
Curious, willing to learn and focussed on problem solving and helping to deliver effective reward solutions.
Personal integrity with commitment and alignment to Arup values and aims.
Self-motivated with positive energy, a growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
