Your daily responsibilities:
As the Team Leader you will still be hands-on undertaking the usual day-to-day retail activites – while also taking on escalations, monitoring performance against KPI's, leadership, mentoring and training.
The role will be based out of the Yatala store and provide Team Leadership support across Browns Plains, Slacks Creek and Macgregor – visiting each of the stores 1-2 times per week.
You will work in a Job Share capacity to cover Monday to Friday operating hours 7am-5pm.
Processing face-to-face and phone/email sales transactions Building and maintaining relationships with customers Stock merchandise and maintain store presentation Provide accurate information about specific products and features based on customer needs – Including upselling and cross selling where relevant Providing quotes and following up on quotes Dealing with customer queries/complaints and offering solutions Providing support for escalation of customer issues Liaison with suppliers in relation to product training Monitor KPI's and performance Provide training and mentoring of new staff – and ongoing as individuals require Your skills and experience:
Demonstrated experience within retail with a stable employment history.
Experience in a leadership capacity providing training and mentoring will be HIGHLY REGARDED.
Ability to work within KPI's.
Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and products quickly and to be flexible.
High level of communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic with an excellent team and big picture focus.
Positive, friendly and outcome focused.
Be self-motivated and have the ability to use common sense and initiative.
Hands-on "Doer" and "Finisher".
RELIABLE with a high level of integrity.
