About us:
NQ Family Therapy Centre has built a solid and trusted reputation for providing high clinical and professional care in the North Queensland community and via telehealth services.
We are a dedicated and distinguished practice with an extensive, well-established network of referral sources in Townsville.
We have additional training in psychology and family therapy.
We are committed to improving the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families through a multidisciplinary, family-focused approach.
The essential requirements for this role are:
Hold current AHPRA registration.
We welcome applications from provisional Psychologists, offering a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a supportive environment.
Able to work autonomously, confidently managing your caseload, and being a positive, motivated, empathic character with a strong focus on quality.
Eligibility for a Medicare provider number/not applicable for provisional psychologists.
Experience with Evidence-Based Therapy and Treatment Modalities.
Strong commitment to ongoing professional development as outlined by AHPRA annual registration requirements.
Demonstrate a high standard of ethical practice.
Experience or interest in working with children and families is highly desired.
