Management - Universities, Other (Education & Training)Salary HEW 10A + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working ArrangementsBased at the Melbourne CBD and Brunswick campus, and hybrid ways of workingAbout YouRMIT University is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, School Operations to lead and manage the operational and strategic efforts within the School of Art and the School of Fashion & Textiles. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities to ensure the seamless delivery of school support services, aligning resources and operations with school and university objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake resource impact analysis for curriculum initiatives and associated implementation plans.Provide strategic advice to inform assessment of global partnerships and industry collaborations. Prepare business continuity and risk assessment plans.Develop a cycle of reporting and review of school strategic execution plans, including staff engagement and mental health and wellbeing plan implementation.Minimum RequirementsExtensive experience in strategic business planning, financial management, and resource allocation within a complex organization.Proven ability to provide high-level strategic advice, resolve operational issues, and lead large-scale projects.Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality client services and building a collaborative work environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and build positive relationships.Expertise in problem-solving, policy interpretation, and ensuring compliance while balancing organizational priorities.Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.To ApplyPlease submit your CV and covering letter addressing your suitability for this position by clicking on the 'Apply' link at the top of this page.Applications close on 26th of October 2024 at 11.59pm.
