Group Treasury
is responsible for managing the banks' balance sheet which includes the Groups funding and liquidity management, capital forecasting and execution, and asset and liability management.The
Treasury Controls office - Operational Risk
supports the Treasury business in the alignment of our business activities, management of risks to safeguard the bank's assets to meet regulatory requirements and to protect our customers and people.More specifically you will:Leverage your detailed knowledge of Treasury products, processes and environment to coach & advise the Business on effective application of the Operational & Compliance Risk Management FrameworkContribute to and undertake the design and implementation of controlsResponsible for capturing risks in the Risk Profile (RCSA)Lead activity to undertake root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvementsSupport the effective design of controls for all new and changing processes and operationsResponsible for data quality in/maintain various databases (including RiskInSite) and undertake monthly management reportingLead activities to undertake Control Assurance Program (CAP) testing, including the development of test scriptsSupport the delivery of the risk management committee governance and reportingContribute to the administration of governance forums, including minuting and action managementIdentify areas for continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insightsInput to the reporting on Operational Risk and control profiles, issues, incidents and other mattersLiaise with the business & key stakeholdersWe're interested in hearing from people who have:Strong written and verbal communication skillsSound understanding of risk management systems and processesCommon sense, practical applicationCritical thinkingUnderstanding of the Group definition of ControlExperience with Treasury products including FX, Interest rate derivatives and securitization highly desirableIf this sounds like the role for you then we would love to hear from you.
