We're looking for Cabler - Data Installation Technician (ANZSCO 342411 Cabler (Data and Telecommunications)) to join our team on a variety of projects for Government, Commercial, Industrial, and Corporate clients.
This role is not just about technical skill—it's about knowledge, precision, and innovation.What You Will Do Install and Configure: Take charge of installing, terminating, and testing data outlets, ensuring high-quality connections for all our clients.Diagnose and Repair: Use your expertise in using diagnostic instruments like ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and transmission measuring equipment to quickly locate faults and perform repairs.Build and Maintain: Erect, test, and maintain aerial and underground wires and cables, as well as radio and mobile phone antennae, ensuring long-term reliability.Cabling Mastery: Showcase your skill in installing cabling for various needs—telephone, radio, pay TV, and computer transmission.Innovate and Adapt: Adjust, replace, and repair faulty items with a keen eye for detail, ensuring all equipment meets our high standards.Lead with Knowledge: Rely on your in-depth understanding of examining drawings, specifications, and work areas to determine the optimal positioning and connections for equipment.Lead and Manage: You may be required to lead a team across diverse locations and challenges.What We Need From YouProven experience as a Data Installation Technician including knowledge of fiber optics connectivity.Leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct a team efficiently.Proficiency in using electronic instruments for the installation, testing, and fault finding of telecommunications equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.A commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.Why Join Us?This is your chance to become part of a leading team in the telecommunications field, where your skills will directly contribute to the success and connectivity of our clients' operations.

Let's connect the world together.BenefitsThe position is a Data installation technician (installing, terminating and testing data outlets in locations for Government, Commercial, Industrial and Corporate Clients).The staff will act as a Senior Technician which also requires him to be the Team Leader for various jobs.Must be trained and skilled in the termination of Fibre.Tasks IncludeExamining drawings, specifications and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installed.Locating faults in telecommunications equipment using instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters and transmission measuring equipment.Attaching wires and cables to appliances.Adjusting, replacing and repairing faulty items, and testing equipment using electronic instruments.Installing cabling for telephone, radio, pay TV and computer transmission.Joining cables and sealing sheaths with lead and thermoplastic.Erecting, testing and maintaining aerial and underground wires and cables, and radio and mobile phone antennae.Installing telecommunications equipment and appliances such as telephones, switchboards and data transmission equipment.Qualification & ExperienceProven experience as a Data Installation Technician including knowledge of fiber optics connectivity.Leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct a team efficiently.Proficiency in using electronic instruments for the installation, testing, and fault finding of telecommunications equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.A commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.About CompanyWe have 30 years of experience designing and building structure cabling systems which are tailored to meet the needs of modern businesses.
