About this part of our organisation:
Our Zinc Assets in Australia include multiple geographically dispersed operations, including underground and open pit mines, processing plants, and port facilities.
Globally, Glencore Zinc has operations across Asia, both North and South American continents, and Europe.
Brisbane is home to our Zinc Assets Australia corporate office, which is where this role is based, although we would also consider locations such as Mount Isa and Townsville.
About your potential new position:
Your primary purpose will be to provide technical expertise to assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Glencore's Zinc Assets Australia HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) processes, systems, and technologies.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
Liaise with key stakeholders within the organisation, analyse organisation data, and use this information to identify and enable systems enhancements that achieve business goals and meet business requirements.
Influence the direction of future design enhancements and full system utilisation, including advice to enable employees to make the best use of our HR applications.
Act as a conduit between the business units, organisational stakeholders, and solutions delivery teams.
Be accountable for the creation and application of an effective change management and approval framework.
To be able to accomplish the list above, and more, you will likely have the following:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (i.e.
Business, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources) or significant practical application in HRIS systems.
Several years as a Business Analyst (preferably HR/Payroll related) or HR/Payroll experience in a systems or data or analyst related role.
Proficiency in system configuration and familiarity with platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, UKG Workforce Dimension, or other similar systems.
Proven ability to identify and deliver system enhancements efficiently with accuracy.
Effective communication and project planning skills.
Previous experience in an HR role is advantageous to enable understanding of the end user's perspective; however, it is not essential.
