Web Designer

About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Web Designer with expertise in UX/UI design and a passion for startups.
In this role, you will not only craft intuitive and engaging designs for our web and app platforms but also travel as required to meet clients, stakeholders, and investors, ensuring their vision and feedback are incorporated into the product.
This role requires regular travel within Australia (e.g., Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne) and occasionally internationally to represent the company at meetings, events, and industry forums.
Being ready and willing to travel on short notice is essential to ensure seamless collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement user-centered interfaces for our web and app platforms, balancing functionality and aesthetics.Collaborate with founders, developers, and key stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into innovative design solutions.Represent the company at in-person and online meetings with clients, stakeholders, and investors, incorporating their feedback into the product.Travel domestically and internationally as needed to participate in meetings, events, and forums critical to the company's success.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.Develop and maintain a consistent design system and brand identity across platforms.Conduct user research and usability testing to refine and optimise designs for scalability and performance.Provide quality control reviews of all work throughout the development lifecycle.Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and technologies to apply cutting-edge solutions.Contribute to marketing and graphic design efforts, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.Adapt quickly to new challenges, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.About You We are seeking a highly motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about delivering innovative solutions.

Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and user-focused projects.Minimum 1-year experience in web and app UX/UI design, preferably in a startup environment.Strong knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.Proven experience working on both web and app-based platforms, with a portfolio demonstrating innovative design projects.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients, investors, and stakeholders.Knowledge of graphic design principles and their application in marketing materials.Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-driven approach to challenges.Desirable Skills:
Experience in a startup or fast-paced work environment.Familiarity with AI-driven platforms or SaaS products.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e.
: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).Knowledge of front-end development frameworks or tools is a plus.Key Attributes:
