Currently boasting a large range of clients, this role will see you managing two operational waste management sites and the incoming fleet.
About the Role
As the HSE Business Partner, you will lead HSE initiatives across two sites, driving safety improvements and strengthening a strong safety culture. You will work closely with a supportive team, coaching and influencing leaders and workers to establish high safety standards, while also delivering critical risk management and process safety improvements.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders to drive innovative strategies at a local level, ensuring continuous improvement in health and safety practices. Your work will directly contribute to the company's broader sustainability goals, making this an exciting opportunity for a passionate HSE professional.
About You
We're seeking a progressive HSE professional with excellent communication skills, passionate about safety and wellbeing. You will be able to confidently address difficult conversations in a supportive, non-confrontational way while driving positive change. Key attributes include:
Proven ability to facilitate Management of Change, Hazard Studies, and Incident Investigations, ensuring that safety protocols are implemented effectivelyExperience working in industries such as oil and gas, mining, industrial cleaning, or waste management would be advantageousUnderstanding and experience working in transport, waste/resource recovery, high risk sitesOccupational Health and Safety qualifications are preferred, along with strong influencing and communication skillsCommitment to frequent travelAbout the Benefits
As the HSE Business Partner across the two sites, you have options:
You can be based in Perth with monthly travel to the regions, or based in Karratha on a residential basis. An additional regional allowance will be available for this option.
