Flooring + Furnishings Warehouse ManagerTorrens, Australian Capital Territory, AustraliaFlooring + Furnishings Warehouse ManagerTerrace Floors + Furnishings and Contract Floor & Wall Systems is a family-owned South Australian pair of businesses offering specialised customer service and tailor-made solutions for every residential or commercial project.Our dedicated team provides industry-leading products and services to customers across a wide variety of commercial projects including offices, hotels, hospitals, and schools.We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager to join our team.Your day-to-day duties will include:Facilitating the logistical requirements of stock movement for staff and customers, including goods receival and dispatch.Cutting and preparing carpet rolls to required lengths using machinery.Assisting with customer and subcontractor collections from our warehouse.Liaising with our sales and estimating teams regarding product availability and readiness.Unloading/loading goods using forklifts.Key responsibilities:Manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching materials and orders.Cut and prepare carpet to project specific requirements using a forklift and carpet cutting machinery.Liaise with sales, logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.Implement and maintain warehouse procedures and systems to optimise workflow and operational efficiency.Organise and prepare outgoing goods for collection by customers, staff, and subcontracted tradespeople.Process incoming goods, ensuring accurate labelling, record-keeping and data entry into computer systems.Manage forklifts by ensuring regular servicing schedules are adhered to and fuel refills are maintained.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and customer service.Manage and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation to a high standard.Always provide professional and friendly service to customers and third parties.The ideal candidate will:Have relevant experience in a warehouse or logistics management role.Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Have a high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Have a safety mindset and appropriate fitness to perform lifting and repetitive movement.Demonstrate knowledge of inventory control and stock management best practices.Hold a current High-Risk forklift licence and have previous experience using a carpet pole attachment.Be proficient with IT skills, including warehouse/inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.Be able to work in a team and/or autonomously.Be enthusiastic and approachable.This is a permanent full-time position based in Thebarton, with working days being Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm.If you're looking to take the next step in your career, and this role sounds like you, apply now with your resume and cover letter attached to join our dynamic and friendly team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
