Courier - Au Mel

The primary purpose of MNX couriers is to load and unload their truck or van, pick up, and deliver goods against MNX & Supplier documentation to ensure accuracy across all areas of responsibilities. This is to ensure customers receive the correct freight within the expected delivery times. Drivers are the key to the successful fulfillment of our customer expectations.
What you will do:Deliver and pick up packages to a variety of locations around metropolitan and regional areas.Lodge international and/or domestic freight.Meet customer expectations in relation to on-time delivery, taking into account receivers' requirements by following consignment instructions for delivery every time.Ensure all freight is labeled and sorted from dispatch, including daily pickups from customers that require their freight to be labeled back at the depot.Undertake other duties as requested by managers, supervisors, and team leaders.Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.Maintain cleanliness of fleet vehicles.Ensure GPS tagging is completed each day.Operate a forklift.Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors and managers.What you bring:The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:Forklift License.Excellent level of numeracy, verbal, and literacy skills.Intermediate computer skills.Ability to load and unload up to 25kgs (on average 5-10kg).Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles for long periods of time (in excess of one hour but may take breaks if needed).Preferred experience:Knowledge of the Biomedical industry.2-3 years of driving/transport experience.Experience in the OBS Operating system.All Logical Freight Solutions employees are required to acquaint themselves with the organisation's Handbook, standalone policies, and procedures and to abide by them at all times.
