Contract Senior Graphic Designer (Remote) Contract Senior Graphic Designer | The Creative Works | Australia
We're a mid-sized Melbourne-based ad agency/design studio that works with great organisations to make people's lives better.
For over 40 years, we've specialised in behaviour change, cause-marketing and creating work that does social good.
We offer sane hours and an excellent, collaborative working environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a graphic designer wanting to flex their creative muscle and collaborate with a team of talented creatives and techies.

We're after a passionate designer with 10+ years experience who is particularly confident doing layout and branding, plus a love for digital marketing and designing websites, for a 3-6 month contract, possibly extended.

You'll need to effortlessly know your way around Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, and have an understanding of website builders.
You've spent a lot of time designing journals, annual reports and magazines and still get a buzz out of finding new ways to solve layout challenges.
But you've also enjoyed adapting to digital design.

Essential skills: Strong design, branding and layout principles Strong typography skills & attention to detail A natural problem-solver and comms specialist Proficiently use InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma Effortless with print – taking jobs from start to end Comfortable with web – create responsive layouts, user-centric website designs, intuitive navigation structures Be confident presenting your ideas internally and to clients Be agile, quick thinking and able to work in a fast-paced environment Team player able to work collaboratively with designers, devs, suits and clients Eager to share your skills with other members of the team Willing to take onboard feedback A good communicator with an approachable, happy nature – no egos need apply
You're passionate about all things design.
You're up-to-date with best-practice trends and emerging technologies and are eager to learn more and share ideas and skills Desired skills: UI/UX knowledge Be able to animate display banners Knowledge of Webflow would be a plus Wireframing and prototyping of websites Retouching What we offer: Hybrid working environment (3 days in office, 2 WFH) A highly experienced team to work with and learn from A fun, supportive workplace culture CBD office metres from train, tram and great lunch spots Along with your CV and cover letter, please provide a link to your portfolio that demonstrates the skills listed above.
