We have an exciting roadmap full of opportunity in the Australian financial landscape with a mission to make lending easy.We are looking for an experienced Penetration Tester with a passion for investigating vulnerabilities and turning them into something impenetrable You'll be someone who embodies our values and has a deep-rooted curiosity about how web applications and services work and how they can be exploited.What will a day in the life look like?Designing, scoping and execution of penetration tests and vulnerability assessments across the NextGen ecosystem;Provide remediation recommendations on findings and oversee accepted remediation actions;Ensure detailed and thorough reporting is undertaken on all vulnerabilities;Be a key part of the ongoing security testing process improvements;Staying current with the latest hacks, tools, and techniques to help NextGen stay ahead of the threat curve.The ideal profile:Strong experience in offensive information security, penetration testing and vulnerability assessment;Strong knowledge of Burp Suite and a variety of security testing tools, such as Metasploit, Nmap;Strong knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and CSRF;One or more Professional certifications, such as OSCP, Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.;Experience with manual testing techniques, including identifying and exploiting race conditions, logic flaws, and other complex vulnerabilities;It will also be very highly regarded if you are an active cyber security community member and can share insights into online or event-based community work that you take part in.You should join NextGen if....You value being a part of an Australian owned business that truly lives its values, genuinely values work-life balance and sees it as a critical ingredient to enabling people to bring their whole selves to work.
