We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent Merchandise and Store Person to join our Mareeba branch to help support in-store sales of our agricultural merchandise products.
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for assisting sales and administration support, as well as ensuring orders are received and dispatched for delivery safely and on-time.
Tasks are varied and will include:
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control and dispatching of goods Assisting customers with pricing and product queries Processing counter sales Forklift operation and on-farm deliveries Inventory control Maintaining safety processes Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture.
A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills Excellent attention to detail Effective verbal communication skills to build solid long-term customer relationships Full driver's licence is required; a HR licence and forklift ticket are advantageous Why work for us?
