Domremy College is seeking an experienced and dynamic TAS Coordinator to join our team.
This leadership role is a two point position with remuneration, commencing Term 1, 2025.
About the role:
As a member of the Middle Leadership Team, the TAS Coordinator shares the responsibility for leadership of the vision, mission and strategic priorities and contributes to the life and management of the College.
The TAS Coordinator is a delegated responsibility by the Principal for the leadership in the Pastoral, Wellbeing and Learning dimension which incorporates vertical Homerooms strengthened by Houses.
The TAS Coordinator works with the College Leadership Team, KLA Coordinators and Pastoral teams within a professional learning community context to enhance the academic wellbeing of all students with a focus on a positive growth mindset.
As a member of Domremy College, the role requires a commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Presentation tradition.
In line with the College's Learning Framework, it is expected that the successful applicant will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring young women to love learning, excel in their subject area and promote personal excellence.
This full-time role is scheduled to commence on Friday, 31 January 2025.
The TAS Coordinator position is a promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your classroom teaching position (1.0FTE) will be full-time and permanent.
The successful applicant will:
demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school show highly developed skills in leadership collaborate with staff and parents to meet the wellbeing, pastoral and learning needs of students be an active listener with excellent communication, verbal and written skills highly skilled in interpersonal relationships with students, staff and parents use of creative and innovative teaching practice to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity which in turn will meet the needs of all students be able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning have effective administrative and organisational skills.
You will have attained:
