With a diverse range of offerings and a dedication to personalised service, we ensure that every client receives the perfect fit for their home across Sydney's Northern Beaches, as well as the North Shore, Upper North Shore, Inner West, CBD and Eastern Suburbs.
We are currently seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electronic equipment and systems associated with our awning, blind and shutter solutions.
Responsibilities: Conduct thorough examinations, inspections and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems used in awning, blind and shutter installations, including motorised mechanisms, sensors, controllers and integrated components.Regularly inspect and maintain electronic systems to prevent malfunctions, conducting routine checks and adjustments to uphold performance and reliability.Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of electronic components to prevent dust buildup and ensure smooth operation, enhancing the longevity of the systems.Utilise diagnostic tools and techniques to identify issues, analyse test results and pinpoint the root cause of malfunctions.Address urgent issues such as wiring faults, component failures or system malfunctions to minimise downtime for our clients.Make necessary adjustments to correct issues and optimise performance, including calibrating motorised mechanisms, aligning sensors and fine-tuning control settings.Replace defective components and remove damaged parts and wiring as needed to ensure the seamless operation of electronic systems and maintain reliability.Reassemble electronic equipment and systems following repairs or maintenance procedures, ensuring proper alignment and integration of components.Conduct comprehensive testing to verify that all systems operate smoothly and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Provide clear and concise guidance to clients on correct operating procedures and best practices for maintenance and troubleshooting to enhance their understanding and utilisation of the technology.Execute precise installation procedures for electronic equipment and systems, ensuring accurate placement and alignment with window coverings.Apply expert knowledge of electronic principles and industry standards to commission newly installed equipment effectively.Requirements: Relevant certificate;At least one year relevant work experience;Strong knowledge of electronic principles and systems, preferably within the window coverings industry;Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 p.a.
