Job Description Summary : Responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned account(s).
Manages/coordinates Client projects from planning to completion.
May serve as the daily contact between the Agency and the Client.
Effectively executes strategies, problem-solves, and develops solid business relationships.
Provides Client service support.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an Earned Travel & Luxury SAE to join our team and create standout work that will help make our clients famous.
Working within our travel & luxury portfolio of brands, you will be working with some of the biggest and well-known brands in the country.
The SAE works closely with Account Directors to create smart earned first work, and tap into your media contacts and stellar understanding of the Australian media landscape to deliver the best quality work across client program development, implementation and reporting, meeting and exceeding campaign KPIs, and makes a positive contribution to identifying and securing new business for the agency.
For this role, you will need to demonstrate that you have your finger on the pulse and are up to date on all the latest trends in culture, travel and luxury.
You will understand what makes a story great and have amazing media contacts proven through your experience working within an agency context.
In addition, you will have the skills to demonstrate autonomy, judgement, adaptability and responsibility to manage client activities and junior members of the team who help implement them.
This position reports to an Account Director with whom the person will work with daily and requires accountability for personal and team outputs and outcomes.
A Senior Account Executive may line manage Interns and Account Coordinators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and monitor clients' business and industries to stay up to date on trends, developments and breaking issues, and in concert with senior managers, counsel client accordingly.
Develop and cultivate positive relationships with allocated clients, and their stakeholders/influencers such as media, third party constituencies, and current and prospective customers to convey key messages.
Prepare basic media strategies and programs for clients and make a solid contribution to more complex ones.
Working with senior managers, prepare and regularly review and update detailed project/program plans including working timetables of activity to ensure successful implementation and achievement of KPIs.
Continually review programs to ensure all deliverables are met and suggest new initiatives to reach goals as required.
Produce meeting reports, noting actions and ensuring appropriate interaction and follow up.

The Basics
A degree in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism (or similar) would be great (but not mandatory).
Experience and contacts within the Australian media, with key relationships across news, lifestyle, luxury, food and beverage and travel.
A minimum two years full-time in agency or similar experience and proven proficiency to perform tasks required to a high standard.
