One of our clients with Queensland Government is embarking on a significant business transformation project, aiming to uplift their portfolio and contract management capabilities.
They are seeking a Portfolio Governance Specialist to join their internal project team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of stronger and optimised portfolio governance management practices across a substantial infrastructure portfolio.
What you'll do:As a Portfolio Governance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our client's business transformation project.
Your extensive knowledge and experience in portfolio management will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining portfolio management methodologies, driving continuous improvement activities, and contributing to performance reporting.
Your ability to build genuine relationships with stakeholders will be key in this role.
You will also provide valuable training and guidance on portfolio management practices.
Provide subject matter expertise and support organisational changes related to the business transformation project.Identify and analyse portfolio management practices, suggesting workable solutions for improvement.Develop, maintain and govern portfolio, program and project management methodologies, standards and guidelines.Drive continuous improvement activities to further uplift portfolio governance.Contribute to performance reporting for the infrastructure portfolio.Provide training, guidance and mentoring regarding portfolio management practices.Develop effective relationships with key clients and organisations within the department.Participate actively as a project team member and coordinate project team work.What you bring:As the ideal candidate for the Portfolio Governance Specialist role, you bring extensive knowledge and experience in portfolio management.
