Melbourne Private Hospital has provided a range of acute medical and surgical healthcare services to our community for over 20 years.
We are a 122-bed private hospital co-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the heart of Parkville, 1.7 km from Melbourne CBD.
Our hospital offers highly specialised services including neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and general surgery.
These services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit, and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit.
As a Quality Manager your responsibilities will include: Facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital/Facility-wide quality improvement program and promote risk management to support the strategic direction.
Be responsible for and lead short notice accreditation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Responsible for and lead quality and clinical governance outcomes.
Ensure the hospital operates in accordance with applicable standards and complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements while striving for continuous improvement.
Coordinate and implement the infection control program to ensure high-quality patient care and staff safety in infection control.
Ensure a safe practice and working environment for staff.
Adapt to operational requirements.
Minimum Requirements: Authority to Work in Australia.
Working with Children Check.
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA.
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
Self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused.
