The Opportunity We are seeking a casual Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy, located in St. John of God Murdoch Hospital, Western Australia. You will be part of an innovative and multidisciplinary team delivering outstanding pharmacy services to our client hospital and their patients.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and broaden your career within a hospital environment. About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be assisting in preparing prescriptions, handling customer queries, and ensuring the timely supply of medications.
Your key responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customersDispensing and supplying medications for hospital and cancer patientsAssisting with imprest and pharmacy inventory managementDelivering and collecting medications to and from hospital wardsEntering patient-specific data into the pharmacy databaseAssisting with patient account enquiries and resolving issuesLiaising with hospital staff and associated personnelSupporting the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks Expected working hours range from 15 to 25 hours per fortnight, offering a mix of day, night, and weekend shifts.
About You You are a dedicated Pharmacy Technician with dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy setting.
Essential Requirements:
