About the company Join a well-established business in the Southwest coastal region of WA that has a robust client offering providing pump, irrigation, installation and service and is a well-stocked industrial retail business, selling a variety of pumps, fittings, pipe, valves, water filtration and plumbing products to the domestic and trades markets.
They are a fast-paced group who have had year-on-year growth and the owners are proud of the fact that they have a stable team who are included in all business decisions and key activities.

You will take an active part in leading staff, overseeing the daily operation of the branch, monitoring workshop activities, influencing retail sales and managing a simple budget, liaising with suppliers and working closely with the owner to develop the business and investigate new areas of opportunity.
First and foremost, this is a proactive hands-on role where you will roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team across all areas of the business.
Duties Support the current team, identify opportunities for growth and personal developmentBe proactive across sales and business activities at a retail levelManage sales budgets, prepare and provide weekly and monthly general reportsReview operational procedures and identify areas of improvementMaintain stock levels and a well-presented retail environmentBe an inclusive, visible and proactive leader in all areas of the businessSkills and Experience Have a track record of branch and team leadership in either the irrigation, plumbing, pumps, or industrial sectorsHave sound customer service and front counter skillsBe technically computer savvy and competent with Excel, Microsoft Word and data entry systemsBe commercially skilled with sales, pricing and budgetsHave a flair for training and mentorshipBe well organised with sound verbal and written communication skillsEnjoy customer service and front-counter salesHow to apply If you have the required skills, looking for the next leadership and sea change opportunity, please click the apply button below and attach a current copy of your resume.
