Senior Ecohydrologist | 7 Month Contract
$101 p/h + super 7 Month Contract Parramatta/Hybrid We are seeking a Senior Ecohydrologist to contribute to high-priority projects and ecological monitoring in the field of ecohydrology.
This role is essential in driving sustainable water resource management and supporting government water reform policies.
Key accountabilities include:
Provide expert ecohydrology advice to inform water policy and natural resource management.
Analyse hydrological data and develop flow-ecology models to support sustainable water management practices.
Lead multidisciplinary projects, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of key outcomes.
Enhance and share specialist knowledge in aquatic ecology, flow monitoring, and risk assessment.
Advise internal and external stakeholders on ecological flow response and water policy implementation.
About You
Degree in science, natural resources, or a related discipline.
Expertise in hydrology models, aquatic ecology, and statistical procedures.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Ability to analyse complex data and develop practical solutions for water management challenges.
