The principal areas of responsibility will be ensuring full compliance with Australian Standards and NATA requirements for sampling and testing of concrete mixes and entering test results into multi-faceted systems.With relevant experience expect to start at around $29/hr and earn around $80k per annum upwards with typical overtime.The Role:Sampling and testing fresh concrete as per Australian standards on construction sites.Collecting concrete test samples (concrete in moulds, approx.
5kg) from construction sites – typically from 3 – 5 sites a day.Assisting Lab technicians and carrying out compression and other strength tests on cured concrete specimens in our Skygate/Southport Laboratory.Working safely and accurately.Reporting to Laboratory Supervisor.The Requirements:Queensland driver's licence.Previous qualification in Laboratory Techniques/signatory will be highly regarded.Perform tests in accordance with Australian Standards.Physically fit (Able to carry 15 litres of concrete for each test.
