Join Mazda Australia as the State Manager for Western Australia
This pivotal executive position is responsible for leading a small team of 4 professionals to elevate business performance across 15+ Mazda Dealerships in Western Australia.
Reporting directly to the Director of Vehicle Sales, this position necessitates regular travel to all Western Australia dealerships and to the Melbourne Head Office.
Key responsibilities include: Leadership and Team Development: Foster the growth of the Western Australia State Office team, including responsibility for the state office operations.Customer Experience Transformation: Drive the CX culture transformation program across all dealerships while monitoring performance.Financial and Business Management: Develop recommended financial budgets for state-wide operations, ensuring fiscal alignment and accurate sales forecasts for national approval.
Prepare business updates on at least a monthly basis to the Mazda Australia executive team.Sales and Profitability Maximisation: Drive increased sales volume profitability and market penetration for vehicles, parts, service, and accessories throughout WA.Performance Standards: Ensure dealerships consistently meet the business's high-performance standards, focusing on the "Ultimate Customer Experience".Quarterly reviews: Conduct quarterly assessments of dealerships, communicating performance feedback to Dealer Principals, and implementing structured action plans.Marketing and Training: Oversee or implement training, co-operative advertising, national campaigns, and local market intelligence efforts among Dealers.Dealer Engagement: Maintain a regular visit schedule with each dealership, adding value at every visit and reporting progress through dealer visit reports.Brand promotion: Uphold Mazda's brand reputation through effective management of policies, programs, and procedures, solidifying our position as a leading automotive brand for both Dealers and customers.About You Are you passionate about leadership, business, and delivering transformative outcomes that elevate the customer experience?
We're seeking a dynamic individual with:
A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.Previous automotive experience in a similar role.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.A proven track record of driving growth and development in a KPI-driven environment.Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and influential abilities to inspire growth and drive business success.Customer-centric mindset.Outstanding financial and analytical expertise.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel regionally in WA and to the Melbourne head office.Application and Selection Process: We value attitudes, behaviours, and values that align with Mazda Australia's culture.
