About the role: We are seeking motivated and experienced Electrical Fitters to work within the Origin Eraring Maintenance Team.
As a key member of the maintenance team, the Electrical Fitter is responsible for delivering safe, reliable and cost-effective maintenance performance and plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities: Actively participate in and support the safe execution of maintenance activities, taking a safety-first approach.
Complete maintenance activities scheduled and unscheduled, delivering a quality of work that supports the reliability and availability of the plant.
Utilise the site CMMS (SAP) to capture all relevant information associated with tasks & work in accordance with the Origin Work Management procedures.
Create positive and productive relationships through open and clear communication with all stakeholders across the operation.
Participate in continuous improvement activities that support the ongoing improvement in safety, maintenance & plant performance.
What will you bring?
Relevant Trade qualifications, an electrical license, and relevant post-trade experience.
A commitment to safety and a continuous improvement mindset.
Alignment to Origin values & willingness to contribute to a great culture and work environment.
Knowledge and experience of plant, equipment, materials, and maintenance methods used in Power Stations or similar heavy industry.
Previous experience utilising SAP or other CMMS.
Ability to plan and prioritise daily activities.
