Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy)Calling for experienced dewatering technicians to join our rapid growing team and to provide comprehensive dewatering solutions to our mining clientsWhat's in it for you?Attractive Remuneration & Benefits up to $150,000 a yearFIFO to Northern Goldfields, 8&6 roster.Site allowance, night shift allowance, higher duty allowance, additional super etc.Remote area salary packagingEmployee Assistance ProgramOngoing training and career development opportunitiesFamily friendly and supportive workplaceDewatering Technicians @ ABBA EngineeringUndertake dewatering duties in active mining environments.Install, maintain, and repair dewatering pipework and systems.Perform on-site and workshop repairs of pumping systems, diagnosing faults and implementing solutions.Use your expertise to build new pumping assets and extend the life of old pumps through expert rebuilds.Put your problem-solving skills to the test as you diagnose faults and implement effective solutions for pumping systems both on-site and in the workshop.Work closely with our procurement team to manage spare parts and ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and implement equipment upgrades and improvements.Conduct regular testing and calibration of pumps to ensure optimal performance.Ensure compliance with safety standards and respond promptly to emergency repair calls, keeping yourself, our team and our clients safe at all times.What you need to have:Qualification: Technical trade qualification in mechanical engineering.Experience: 2-5 years of mechanical experience, preferably in pump systems.Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, pump fault finding expertise, and meticulous attention to detail.Licenses/Certifications: MR/HR Rigid Driver's License, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, High Risk and Construction Industry OHS White Card (desirable).Clearance: National Police Clearance and satisfactory pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.Join Our Journey to Innovation @ ABBA EngineeringAt ABBA Engineering, we're not just shaping the future of mining and construction – we're revolutionizing it.
