Building Construction Manager

About the Business Our client is a successful Development and Construction group about to venture into their own land subdivision and building projects.
They are hugely passionate about sustainability and providing quality communities to the South East QLD residential housing sector.
What you'll be doing With a vision to build approximately 300 house and land packages per year, this business is about to commence civils on their first major 130 lot housing development in Brisbane and is looking for a passionate individual to join the executive team in a key role focused on delivering quality residential communities.
As the Building Construction Manager you will be responsible for:
Collaborate with executive management team on overall strategy, KPIs and objectivesContribute to design and pricing discussionsEstablishing construction management system and advising on best practiceSourcing and procuring trades, labour and assisting with supplier engagementDevelop and implement project plans, budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion of construction projectsIdentify and mitigate risks, and implement appropriate contingency measuresEnsure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and environmental standardsManage construction team work schedules and site operationsMonitor and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvementWhat we're looking for: QLD Builders licence - preferredExperience in a Construction Manager or Building Manager role within a volume home building company essentialProven track record of successfully delivering volume residential house and land projectsExcellent project management, problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong communication and leadership skillsPro active, self starter, problem solver and passionateWhat's on offer: Beautiful workspace in the heart of BrisbaneFinancially backed business to ensure your securityA business focused on its people and cultureAn opportunity to bring your passion and experience to a 'start up' backed by 20 years of business in construction and developmentMake this role your own and work collaboratively with Directors and Exec teamHow to Apply Contact Felicia McCallum or Skeilla McLellan on or apply online today.
