We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join The Royal Melbourne Hospital.Senior Social Worker & Team Leader – Grade 3Community Therapy ServicesRoyal Melbourne HospitalProvide expert clinical skills, leadership and knowledge in Community Therapy Services (CTS), including National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) hearings, and My Aged Care.Career progression opportunities across the organisation, supported and developed through our supervision program.Full time, ongoing role.Your New Role:Provide exemplary social work service and leadership in the Community Therapy Services Team, including assessment, intervention, and discharge planning.Foster positive team and workplace culture as a senior Social Worker and Team Leader in the multidisciplinary CTS team.Utilise specialised skills and knowledge in relation to relevant community providers communicating between patients and caregivers.Demonstrate excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services, information and leadership.Actively lead and participate in Allied Health & CTS quality improvement initiatives and research.About You:You have demonstrated hospital experience with a collaborative leadership style.You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others.You are a qualified Social Worker, eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.You value working with supportive and dedicated health professionals and multidisciplinary teams.Benefits of Joining RMH:The Allied Health department provides a strong teamwork culture in both the professional teams and multi-disciplinary groups.We have a commitment to training, education and continuous professional development activities all of which are fully supported i.e.
