Biala has been supporting children and their families on the Mornington Peninsula for over 40 years.
They are looking for someone who is eager to grow with our company and work collaboratively with our team of Therapists and the wider community.
You will have a current Working With Children Check, Driver's License, and access to a reliable car.About the RoleWe have exciting opportunities for new graduates, early career, or experienced Speech Pathologists to join us on a permanent part-time or full-time basis.
In this role you will:Work with a varied paediatric caseload alongside a multi-disciplinary team;Conduct assessments and provide therapy to meet the needs of children in the areas of autism, communication, self-regulation, motor skills, social skills, executive functioning, self-care participation, and inclusion;Have an opportunity to work on-site at our purpose-built facility or within the child's natural environment (childcare, kindergarten, school, or their home);Provide support in person or via Telehealth.More BenefitsOne-to-one support from Senior Therapists and Team Leaders;Generous professional development with 5 days time allowance per annum;17.5% leave loading and access to generous Salary Packaging benefits;Access to an Internal and external Employee Assistance Program (EAP);We provide additional leave so you can take a paid mental health day each term (4 per annum) to recharge and look after your wellbeing;Team days which include wellbeing and self-care sessions;Gifted rest and recovery days off such as the day before Melbourne Cup Day;As a graduate, you will have a reduced caseload, access to coaching, mentoring, and 1:1 discipline-specific supervision.Essential CriteriaYou hold a degree in Speech Pathology, registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), a current Driver's License and reliable car.
