You will excel within Tivra's culture, contributing to a vibrant and experienced team.If you're passionate about building services engineering and ready to take your career to the next level, we'd love to hear from you.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe role will involve undertaking the following tasks:Lead and manage all assigned projects, ensuring client requirements are met and projects are delivered on time.Deliver high-quality electrical designs, ensuring compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.Produce drafting and design documentation to a high standard, meeting time constraints.Proficiently use electrical design software, such as AutoCAD and PowerPac, to produce technical drawings and calculations.Review calculations, reports, estimates, and design tasks completed by graduate/junior engineers.Assess both new and existing buildings for compliance with relevant codes and standards.Collaborate with other engineers and drafters, taking direction from project team leaders to meet project requirements.Present and lead project meetings, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.Attend meetings, site inspections and construction phase meetings as required.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.Maintain regular communication with the Project Manager, Client, and Project Initiator to ensure alignment and progress.Ability to communicate and deal with relevant power authorities.Write technical and detailed project reports.YOU WILL NEEDRelevant qualifications, including a tertiary degree or accredited courses in electrical engineering.A minimum of 5 years' proven experience in a similar role.Strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD and PowerPac EMD calculation software.Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software.A solid understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards.Ability to understand and meet client needs.Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective teamwork and flexibility.A positive, proactive attitude with a "can-do" approach.Familiarity with the National Construction Code (NCC) and its application to Building Services Design.A collaborative team player with exceptional communication skills, particularly in client-facing situations.Ability to manage designs from concept to completion, with support from a Project Engineer.Self-motivated with the ability to conduct research to assist with project design.A Professional Engineer (PE) and CPEng accreditation is preferred.YOUR NEXT EMPLOYERTivra is a respected building services consultancy renowned for providing expert solutions across various sectors, including offices, healthcare, education, and residential developments.
