People & Culture Adviser

Our client, a leading law firm in Australia, is currently seeking a highly motivated HR generalist to join their People & Culture team.
As the P&C Adviser, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service for the firm's people by providing generalist P&C support and business partnering with a practice group portfolio.
Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of P&C including recruitment, performance management, employee relations issues, onboarding and probation, employee departures, health and wellbeing, graduate and vacation clerk placements.Provide HR advisory support for allocated teams and manage key HR processes.Support the P&C Director, Partners, and other Leaders in managing complex employee relations issues.Lead and support key P&C projects.Conduct reviews of P&C policies and guidelines.Provide P&C advice and support for Partners and employees.Prepare business cases and position descriptions for recruitment.Respond to and manage health and safety issues and incidents.Maintain employee files and documentation in accordance with legislative and confidentiality requirements.Manage employee changes and requests through HRIS.Provide payroll advisory support and manage updates to payroll processes.Assist in monitoring and ensuring legislative compliance in workplace practices.Stay up to date with new developments and relevant trends in HR.What does the ideal candidate look like?
: Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar HR advisory role.Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.Experience in legal or other professional services environments is an advantage.Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with all levels of seniority.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.Excellent relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Join our client, a leading law firm, and become an essential part of their People & Culture team.
