As a member of Tibra's Hardware Development team, you will build low latency trading systems using state of the art hardware technologies.
We approach our hardware systems in the same manner as our software systems, using effective development tools to ensure we rapidly produce high quality, reliable solutions.
Tibra's hardware development team is responsible for ensuring our trading systems operate at the lowest possible latency.
We use a mix of C++, Haskell and VHDL to develop our low latency trading systems, so experience in any of these languages is highly valued.
A thorough understanding of digital design will also be beneficial.
We compete in some of the most competitive markets in the world, so you will need to innovate and constantly push our systems forward.
What you will be doing:Design, develop, test and deploy improvements to our hardware stackOptimise hardware designs to ensure our trading systems operate at the lowest possible latencyWork with our team of developers to integrate hardware solutions with software trading systemsWork with different stakeholders across the business to develop improvements in the trading systemRequirementsBachelors Degree or higher in Electronic/Electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related qualificationAn 'all-rounder' with an enthusiastic attitude who wants to understand more about technology and the business3+ years of hardware design experienceProficient in VHDL, Verilog, or Clash hardware designProven ability to produce reliable, well-tested hardware designsAn understanding of networking systems and protocolsA keen interest or experience with functional programming languages (Haskell, Scheme)Willingness to learn new technologies, drive better efficienciesFamiliar with the Xilinx toolchainAn interest or experience in FPGA technologySolid written and verbal communication skillsExperience or interest in low latency trading systems and technologyC++ experience, preferably C++17, 20 or newerBenefitsA market leading, merit-based bonus schemeBreakfast, lunch and snacks provided dailyMassages and gym membershipThe opportunity to actively support charitable causes through our FoundationGenerous leave allowancesThe opportunity to benefit from in-house and external training coursesWorking with smart, passionate and driven people every day #J-18808-Ljbffr
