Hospital
This is Australia's second oldest hospital, opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub-acute, mental health, and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.
Position
You will work within a multidisciplinary team environment, contributing to the provision of high standard clinical services to patients of the Health Service. As the General Medicine Registrar, you will be responsible for managing the care of patients in consultation with the Consultants, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. In this key role, you will be actively involved in continuous Quality Improvement activities, as well as participate in continuing education activities.
This position is fully accredited for both basic and advanced training.
Requirements

- General or limited registration with AHPRA
- At least 12 months recent experience working within General Medicine
